The Riders is a psychological drama directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Edward Berger (All Quiet on the Western Front, Conclave), based on Tim Winton's acclaimed Booker Prize-shortlisted novel.

The film follows Fred Scully (Brad Pitt), an Australian expatriate who has relocated to rural Ireland to begin a new life with his wife and young daughter. But when only his traumatised daughter arrives from Australia and his wife mysteriously disappears without explanation, Scully embarks on a desperate journey across Europe in search of answers. As his search unfolds, he is forced to confront the fragility of love, identity and the stories we tell ourselves about the people closest to us.
