LIFE

Life is a science fiction thriller directed by Daniel Espinosa and production designed by Nigel Phelps. Starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson, Ryan Reynolds, Hiroyuki Sanada, Ariyon Bakare, and Olga Dihovichnaya, the film follows the six-member crew of the International Space Station after they discover the first evidence of extraterrestrial life. What begins as a historic scientific breakthrough soon becomes a desperate fight for survival when the rapidly evolving Martian organism proves far more intelligent—and lethal—than anyone could have imagined. The International Space Station was recreated entirely on stage at Shepperton Studios, with a series of interconnected, full-scale sets engineered to allow continuous movement through the station while creating the illusion of weightlessness and the confined environment of space.
